Sorry I mistyped. WE should all learn from this. Too much stress from business, family, etc. Should not let small matters like our cars stress us further. I promise the next time I face a similar problem with PML or any other dealer for that matter; that will be the end of my relationship with the brand. I'd rather sell and lose some money than end up dead or worst, a vegetable. I did have some problems with the same very group of people more than a year ago; maybe I'm just lucky there were no other problems to compound the effect.

You can go to Chin Wah at Killiney Rd. Look for Ah Peng and tell him Edward sent you. Pls bargain. You may as well go for 19inch wheels. Front and rear 245/35/19. They're okay for a 520 so I should think your ride won't suffer too much.

Some say 1.3L is ok, but there are also people that claim 4.5L is still not powerful enough. Power is subjective. If you have been driving your 17", upgrade to 18" is definitely a drag on your 523, it will not pull as fast as before. I am on 18", I changed to 18" on the first day I collected my car, so I will never know how many horses that extra 2" had killed. But I am happy, because one will always be hungry for power, one just need to be contented to be happy. I'd suggest 245 for front and back, rather than having 275 at the rear.

I strongly recommend South East Tyre at Kaki Bukit. What rims do you have in mind?

thinking of going for star spoke 124. 245 front and 275 rear. will check with pml if i can order 245 x 4 pieces all round rather than the std set 245 x 2pcs & 275 x2 pcs.

is yours lowered? or stock std? where did you get your rims? could you let me know how much they cost you for the rims and tyres separately?

jus an update on the eibach springs....

i am on 18 acs ps2.acs front lip.eibach springs.did not change shocks.

after one week..

comfort is there.

ride a bit on the bouncy side.cg lowered but yet still not very confident going 90km/h around roundabouts.

can not park head in fisrt. almost pulled off the lower lip.too low.

hit the undercarriage going fast down ubi on an uneven road and when going humps.so no choice but go real slow.

maybe have to inflate my tires a bit.

523i 18 inch ,power adequate but then again subjective.go and get that throttle device.

are you having 245 all raound? or 245 front 275 rear? l love the ACS front lip too. Are they ACS original or the replica? mind telling me where to get and how much? can show me some pics on the fitting?
thanks..

i prefer the black. looks much natural than silver.

there's a long thread in bmw-sg forums about this device.
http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/engine-perfor...ody-device.html

you can go down to bvo and have them install in your car and go for a test drive. if you dont like it, they'll take it out. no charge. go try it. installation takes like 5 mins. very easy.
