Let's hope PML does the right thing and offer a refund to the widow. Sometimes I have to wonder how PML thinks - even if they take a hit offering a refund, the positive publicty (very much needed imho) would pay for itself....

Count me in if you guys are going to the wake.

I was wondering how can we show our solidarity with our fellow BM owner on such issue especially in such situation?

Guys, we're too late. Orbituary was published on Tuesday. He was cremated this morning. Sad...... Is there anything we can do to extend our condolences to his family?

Well, Lai, many things in life cannot be predicted and life and death is just one of them. Chu aka GSHOCK88 faced some problems with PML regarding his E60 roof leakage. Last I heard from him, PML did offer some compensation in terms of service warranty but this was not what he expected and was told during his meetings with them. Sounds familiar? He was to meet up with them this week together with his lawyer. Unfortunately this meeting never took place and the outcome will never be known.

He died of heart failure early this week whilst having a game of squash. Whether or not his problems with PML played a part, nobody knows, but I figure it should not. He was away last week in Manila for some business deals and I believe his hectic schedule took its toll on his health.

Lai, this is a very BIG lesson for you. He was only 38.

mk. yeah. time to get it. its not avail in singapore yet. says "subject to agency approval for singapore" in applestore. the remote works via infra red .. kinda sucks, since i'd be hiding the mac mini in the glove box. i like the look of the remote. was also hoping for some kind of ipod dock. no go this round.
