Now its CIC, I checked file size of CCC vs CIC and its many times larger. I seriously doubt it will ever finish on OBD interface, not worth the try given OBD interface speed is 1.4 KBPS as per my calculation, sometimes higher but not by much. I could be wrong in calculating speed but whatever it is, not good for CIC update.

You will kill a CIC with an OBD interface.

And yes unless your CIC has DAB inbuilt you will definately loose DAB.

When I try to read my TCU (TCUM module) in NCS it just times out, says ecu not responding, however it responds back to INPA and Tool32, not sure what is wrong here. Has someone else seen this happening before?

Error in NCS is: COAPI-2020: no answer from ECU, IFH-009: ECU not conneted or doesn't answer

After a lot of struggle finally I upgraded my CIC to the v41 latest version. I didn't write UIF to avoid any mess up with the stored FSCs. Despite upgrading Assist MyInfo still not working. Menus are changed, Update Assist is gone it always says Assist Activated, there is no specific option to trigger message update. My Assist subscription end later this month and I won't be able to investigate this further. I will leave Assist investigation to the side and move on to combox media setup now.

For upgrade I used OPS interface, which I have rented for a week. No, please don't try with OBD, its suicidal, read my posts here for experience I have been thru. Anyone local wants this interface?

Everything else in my car is working happily.

If the switch to the automatic (and LCI) climate control is possible I am definitely interested in your control unit.
I am trying to find out what needs to be done to get the climate unit to work in my NON-LCI car.
My car is from 2005 and has manual climate control.

If you have the basic climate control, you can not fit the climate control advanced, the heater matrix is completely different with more air flap servos, a lot more pipe work, a secondary water pump and the control panel has three cable connections.

What about the coding for this retrofit? How do I do it?
I have installed all the new parts and now I do not have any audio coming out of the speakers, even the seat belt beep isn't working. I know I am supposed to start looking into coding but this is my first time and i do not know where to start!!

What kind of audio do you have, Stereo, HiFi, or Logic7? How about coding empty FSW_PSW.MAN file to your CIC, it will bring code the CIC to your VO. Try that.
