I need help to find out how get the kit CiC Retrofit for a 07 525i
Although they are a couple of people that have done the E60 CIC retrofit overseas it hasn't been documented with pics. Hopefully this log will help those that are hesitant or not sure of whats need it for the retrofit.
I received most of the parts that i needed for the retrofit. Still waiting for a couple of parts that should be here on Friday. Looking at doing the installation,coding and programming sometime over the weekend with Patryk. Wanna thank R9ndy and Technic for all the help in getting the right part numbers.

IHKA not working corectly
Hi all,
After retrofit of E90 CIC in pre LCI E60 and changing climate control panel to LCI one (with pin21 mod) I cant control cold/hot air from CIC menu and cant change air directions from IHKA panel. Both modules where codet with my VIN and car FA codes. Few members here wrote that they have same problem and solved it, but noone tell how. If possible someone to upload CICs fswpsw.trc so i can check diferences.

So when you press the Left Climate Control button "IN" (Drivers Side)...
It doesn't show Direction.... Cold / Hot....... and you can't control it with the dial?
Please take a picture of the screen you're presented with after Pressing the Driver Climate Control button in......

Problem solved!
Flashed 62 MOSTGW with ZB number for E60 MOSTGW. and everything works perfect. Before flashing it was impossible to change hot/cold selector and to change air direction from IHKA panel temperature knob. Also i wasn't able to change lights and locking settings.
MOSTGW can be flashed with DCan usb cable. It takes around 10 minutes. First flash hanged at 6% and screen goes black. Second was done ok and i disconnected power connector of the CIC to reboot it and get picture back. All FSC certificates are intact.
The (E90) mostgw was with hardware number 9 284 325 and software (ZB ) 9 284 327 i flashed it with ZB 9 273 169 which is for hardware number 9 273 168 for E60.

My Ride: E60 M5
Can someone tell me how to make the CCC controller work with w CIC retrofit. I have searched all over and hear all different responses from setting ZBE settings (e.g. low, high, low_with_slopes) to flashing firmware back to older version. The controller 'works' but skips from first item in the menu to the last item on the menu. Any definitive answer would be greatly appreciated.

When encoding is done, do you have to do it with the date changed, as when encoding the CIC? the truth is that I changed it in CAS and LMA and to encode the CIC and I have not put it back to the actual date of manufacture. would there be any problem in making SG CODIEREING to the kombi with the date # 0909?
