E60 for Singaporeans

Toto,
The email from HIOP was in response to Juzz4Cars claim that they are using HIOP's ecu remapping procedure. I think the ball is in Juzz4Car's court to respond to HIOP's email. How come they are able to use HIOP's procedure when HIOP have not even updated their Cartune software for E60's yet?

My Ride: e60 530i - SOLD!
I have close to 14000 km on my mileage clock and about 1400km to first service, this is a bad ratio for mileage to service.
how about you guys with 3 liter engine? do you get the same ratio?

PML USES caltex 0-30 oil...fastest flowing oil apparently. they say no need to change oil till advised. but its never too early to change oil...i usually change 10-15k....frankly all oils r the same. for our climate 0 viscocity is not nec. but then again...we dun hv to go to 40 as wel... the diff is that pml is more expensive!
Talk to a w/s manager regarding changing oil at 20,000km and he pulled me aside to tell me that although the specs say so, it would be wiser to do it at 10-15K before being reminded by service indicator - he advised that engine oil can be hydroscopic in our environment and sludge may form in the engine compartment (recognisable by looking at the engine oil cap - rusty look on the spring steel).
I was told by BMWorld the last time we met that newly delivered cars uses a "vegetable" thick oil and that the car will certainly perform better after an oil change.... and I have only done 6+K and although still a long way to an oil change, would do one at around 12K. How much have you done?
Meeting at Macs @ West Coast Park is a good idea but we have to avoid weekends (unless meet early - late afternoon always very packed). So how many would come this round? How about Sunday 18th Jul @ 8.00 am?

Hi Olivin,
Nice shot of your ride. When are you getting the bluetooth retrofit done? I spoke to Brandon at PML and he mentioned a E60 owner willing to be first as a try out, is that you?
