totoseow, I used Juzz4cars when I was driving my old E39. they are reliable and do modding for BMWs. They are run by ex-PML people.

ok. they hv done a few E60s 530i so far. they take readings of ur ECU...sends it to germany where an experience company (no names mentioned bu hinted to b bmw engineers) who basically releases the full capabilities of the ECU....all cars hv their ECUs tuned down to complay with EU emissions stds etc etc...u will c that USA spec 530is hv lesser hp than euro specs for such reasons. n for the 530 it is estimated to be 17-20hp more.

all modifications will void warranty with any car. the point is that...this procedure does not reqiure any physical xtraction of the chip. if u dun like it they can put ur original data back.

pml will not know u hv modified ur ecu unless they run a dyno test for your car. they dun do that unless u hv engine problems. even if u go n adjust ur rpm higher they dun do dyno test. only with a dyno test u can find out that hp n torque has increased...

i will likely be doing it....was thinking if we hv group interest we can get cheaper. sorry but i hv no info on 525s or 520s.

If tune 520, it can beat alpha selespeed 156. Anyway to make the exhaust sound like sports car (ferrari or porsche) without changing the exhaust?

The ecu tuning does sound interesting.
Do they have to do any re-soldering of the chip as Powerchips claim in their materials on BMW upgrades?
By the way, where is Juzz4cars located? I am in the Holland Village area.

Juz4cars is at Sin Min Auto Centre at the junction of Sin Min Ave and Bright Hill Drive. It is on the 3rd floor.

Just called Juzz4car. Told me the ECU tuning also for E60 520 and expected hp increase is about 15 to 17 hp. Cost is the same.
