Hi

We have beeing on the job all evening getting a CIC-controller to work in a 2004 645 - with no luck!

Wirring is OK - as we can code the CIC-controller with NCS.

Some say the FW should not be to new on the CIC-controller?

Tried all on this: http://www.e60fanatics.de/archive/index.php/t-7211.html

Have coded CAPPL, ZBE2, CHOST, changed ZBE to LOW in CAPPL and much more.

PN for CIC-controller is: 65.82.9.240.959

Can someone help?

You need to re-program the CCC MOST/gateway then set ZBE to low_with_slopes in CAPPL.

Hi everyone,

How many of you would be interested in a backup camera kit integrated with the CIC?
PnP solution, consiting of aftermarket parts to keep the price at a reasonable level.

We have just confirmed this can be done also for the E60/E61/E63/E64 vehicles and trying to figure out how many of you might consider this as your next upgrade.
At the same time we are preparing the backup camera kit for the 3-series and X5/X6 vehicles.

Patryk
Hey Patryk,
My fall schedule has been hectic as all hell and I have not been able to spend much time on my car however as you know I am still very much interested in getting this mod from you....Integration with the CIC is ideal!!! If it can be done, I'm very glad I waited.

Let us know more!

Thanks,

If you are going down this route there is now no need to change the AC panel just to fix AC buttons gap issue. BMW have introduced the Button pack for the LCI AC panels as well. So all you need to do is buy those buttons and spend some time putting them on to the pre-LCI ac control panel. That will save you from making any changes in the rear of the AC. Its a cheaper option. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...26&hg=64&fg=20

However note that the pre-LCI AC relied on the iDrive having the AC options for vent control. However in the LCI cars all the vent controls are on the AC panel itself, so the CIC has next to no adjustments possible. This may or may not be a problem. I've had my AC set to AUTO and have never manually adjusted my AC - so for me this was a perfect compromise.
