took the car for a quick spin....came home turned it off and then back one a bit later...all my progressed was reversed. the logic7 option is now gone...also the cic is no longer recognizing my cd changer or allowing me to change a lot of settings like it did before. how is that possible? can coding really not stick....but only momentarily?

i went back in and did a read of the cic ecu....within the .trc file it looks like the audio has reverted back to hifi....not top_hifi

i tried coding a blank .man file and received the attached error (see the pic). then i took the contents of the .trc file added it to the .man file, changed the audio setting to top_hifi then attempted to execute job sg_cogerin (sp?) and also received the attached error again.

i feel like im so close to getting sound. its gotta be a simple coding error im doing. im using NCS Expert v.3.1 and what i believe to be the latest daten files....they have prod dates all the way up to 12/09

help! if you want to charge for help, again, PM me your asking price...i just want sound....i need that little victory at this point lol! thanks guys!

No more moving pins from the TCU and MULF connectors!
No more stretching the wiring to install the Combox!
No more alternative solutions that do not fully work!

BimmerTech PnP harness will make the Combox installation simple and effortless.

Hello everyone, I'm interested in getting it done to my 2004 545i, I was wondering if I would need a new antenna and wiring to the antenna, since I my car did not come with navigation?

Also who do I need to contact to get all the parts ? Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you
