I think no safe to install the throttle amplifier. If you surge forward and hit someone or another car, you will be in trouble - can be charged for illegal nodification to car which endangers safety.
Muahahahahahahahahahahaha, all the cars with this gadget will be in deep shit!!!

Including me!!!

Muahahahahahahahahahahaha

Those were my two big concerns too and that is why I chose not to go ahead although I was quite tempted initially. Another concern is the fuel consumption which will rocket up because of the shiok feeling everytime you rev!!!

Of course, the last and final objection is the need to install wings and the need to check with Changi Airport control tower everytime I want to bring my ride out

Ed, dont worry! Installing the Wing Flaps upside down will keep the car firmly on the ground

I was also tempted to try and install the device but have to consider safety of other road users since my wife will also be driving the car.

yo happy cny,

ed you definately need it for your 320i how to drive when u got 545 and m6 .fc should not be a concern to you..ha.

the throttle device is sensitive but not to that extent as if you launch into the car in front and unless you are clumsy with your foot.hahaha.

i have gotten used to it now and wonder if my ecu will adapt to this new input.i can drive slow and over take easily now.
it would be good if they can run a on off button so then when u need it you depress it...ha.

as with petrol consumption i think it is related to your driving habit only.too shiok to consider negative afterall we are always hungry for speed /power. fc will let you guys know if it affect much.

the cost below 400..i dont need dms for now.

i remember when my potentiometer of my amplifier got shorted, it blasted my speakers at maximum volume!
it blew my power amp and speakers at max power!

i am imagining if the accelerator pot is shorted, the car will surge at max speed and power....urgh...

any failsafe incorporated?

Very very well said bro!!

Those who kept having -ve pointers.....have you tried it yet???

Those who were skeptical about it were convinced after trying.....

It's all about adapting to the new throttle response...

Imagine U are driving a E46 318i non-valvetronic 115bhp & U suddenly became rich & bought yourself a E46 M3 343bhp......

U were so use to flooring the throttle but a Nissan Sunny still breez past you......now U have a M3, are you gonna floor the throttle??

U wun rite?? Tap alittle on the throttle & your M3 will fly pass the Sunny!!!

My 2 cents.......kekekekeke
