Sir, dun look down on Nissan Sunny yah!

Power are abt the same & they're much lighter in weight!

By saying 'floor the throttle' I dun mean FUEL!!!! Who dunno those who can afford a M are not bothered abt fuel........I'm toking about the throttle response here!

Now, lets not get drawn into a gunfight here. I fully understand what your throttle device does and why you will swear by it. However, not everyone here buys an E60 for speed and thrills.
However, if you can assure me that this little device will cure the hesitation problem of the 520, I've got a friend who might just be very interested. I may bring him to BVO later this week to try it out.

But, lets not get into the Sunny and Civic thing. If these cars were stock and can do so much, then alot of prospective E90 320 buyers will be flocking to their showrooms. I have read the Sunny specs on their web-site but have refrained from publishing them so as not to cause unnecessary friction.

Here's to a very prosperous New Year to you!!!

Cool bro!!! Chiil yah!! I know not all will want speed & thrills, this is for those who're interested....

The hesitation problem that I heard from the 520 occurs during slow speed & cornering....car will hesitate b4 moving on again during cornering....this could be the fault from either software & the active steering tingy...

The gadget wun cure this problem, but will bring it down to minimal due to the speed of the response being amplified by the gadget....

Hope that some of the 520 bros here that hv installed the gadget share their views.....kum Xia

A very Mega Happi & Mega Huat CNY to all here!!!!

Cheers

No worries Bro!!! Everyone is entitled to have his say.

Great!!! Is BVO opened tomorrow? If so, I'll definitely bring him there for a tryout. Both my friend and his wife don't drive slow, but the hesitation after a U-turn is killing them. Even if it doesn't cure the fault, a small improvement would seem like a BIG plus!!!

if you know the chasis number/ registration number of the ride it is easy to get pml CSA to call out if indeed the ride is factory fitted with sport suspension.
late 2003 is presumably aug 03 production and the first batch came with dynamic drive and standard suspension. it is possible a few units could be fitted with sport suspension.
if there still part number sticker on them it can tell as well. The spring and shock should come in pair. I assume when you wrote set of springs you meant shock absorber as well!?

Happy Lunar new year to all forumers here! may the new year bring health and happiness to you and your family.
Thanks Zag. Actually, I was only referring to the springs, I will go check thanks.

A little OT but took the chance over the CNY holidays to take some photographs of my rides. Took plenty but lighting was bad - too bright; so I refrained from posting the others. Will get some help to take better pictures and post in my album soon.

I still think the E60 is the best looking of the lot.

no problem!
... just note that for sport suspension set up, the springs have to be on matching sport "shock absorber" as well for the right length matching.

Edlee, how did u manage to bring all the 3 cars to MacRitchie Reservior at the same time? What u are lacking is a 7 series.

Piggyback!!!! Ha...ha...ha...
Seroiusly, it was the eve of CNY anf a friend of mine helped me drive the third car. The location was Upp Pierce Reservoir. Sun was really shining too brightly and therefore most of the pictures turned out with plenty of reflection.
