During my last servicing, I have to put my car in PML overnight and I collected my car on Saturday. My usual SA was off so Koh covered him. He had that bo-chap attitude when I asked him question pertaining to my servicing. Everything I asked about the bill he asked me to ask my CSA on Monday, yet he wanted me to sign on the bill that 'I understand the bill and the SA had explained all'. Well, I had been unlucky I guess, dealing with him when he was having his period.
Oh dear ... I hope it's not "the" time tomorrow when I go pick up my car.

Why not try calling BMWAssist at 62923166 and see if that mobile service man has a spare bulb?

tcc, u r also known as Asagi in bmw.sg forum?

Can show a pict of where you mounted the C320? I don't think I'll wait for the Nuvi...maybe I should go for this tried and test Garmin? Would u be able to send me the files for SG and Mal maps and those voice files? Where exactly is Perfect Watch? Sim Lim Tower or Square... how much did you pay for your rewiring?

Thanks.
Yes, my nick is asagi in bmw.sg forum. A bit of an embarrassment. When I first registered as TCC in bmw.sg, The user name appeared and I find it to be very unfriendly especially with the letter in BOLD. Wasn't what I would like because basically I am a easy person and always joke. So I manage to get the administrator Ryan to help me change my nick to asagi which is a fish you saw in the attavar. Over here in E60 forum, I dunno how to do the change the name to the same.

Tategoi was the one who introduced me to Perfect Watch in Sim Lim Square (Hi Tategoi). The C320 I bought come preloaded with sing/J.B maps and an option to upgrade to Sing/Malaysia maps once it is ready (supposedly to be soon). I paid $1130 and this price is supposed to be special because I negotiated with PW with other forumer. You can buy one without the upgrade option and it cost $1000. But take note that in future, the upgrade cost will be $400. There are 3 or 4 Garmin reseller and I think the price is more or less controlled. I still dunno how to download the Sing/Mal maps from Malsings.com and that's why it's important I meet all the experts like Tategoi, LMK, Ed etc.. to find out more about GPS, I.C.E, and most importantly Wing Flaps.

I mount my unit just above the right side of the mainscreen (see attached). It is the nearest possible position to the driver and also exactly in line with our sight. I can also rest my right hand on the steering wheel when I am keying information in the touch screen. I have not wire up yet like Forumer Chickenbackside did for his car.

the maps from global is not that detailed.

i download maps from here http://www.malsingmaps.com/forum/modules.p...download&cid=10
this is the most comprehensive maps for malaysia and Singapore (except for HDB blocks)
The group keeps all roads updated frequently.
Tategoi can also share his experience.

i agree too many things in the dash is crowded, that is why i have a mac with both Enroute that uses garmin maps and mapking in singapore where HDB blocks are needed.
OK, I am going to drive to Selangor tomorrow, I only have the address, but don't know where exactly is the place. Will try my Garmin and let you know how Garmin fares. Just updated to the MalSing v2.32.

Nice. First time I see C320 mounted in a car. Would the unit shakes/vibrates when you are driving? OK lets make Ed's house warming a grand GTG. Looking forward to see you people.

The mounting is not permanent (using vacuum suction) which means you can easily remove the unit and mount anywhere you like. Since it is not permanently installed, the C320 can be transfer to friends or future rides easily.

Have a safe ride to Selangor and see you next week.
