Hi,

Just took delivery of my 523 last weekend and need some advice on the followings,

- Whenever I come to a complete stop, I feel a slight jerk after a second. It feels like the car is downshifing. If this is the case, why the one second delay?
- When I washed my car (engine was still hot) over the weekend, I noticed that the right headlight fogged up. I took it to PML and was told that this is normal. Is this so?
- Is there an E60 forum in the BMW.sg forum?
Just wanted to let you guys know that the jerk stop after one and a half week of driving. Guess the 523 will self medicate...

E-mailed Mike Cooper of DMS, awating response. Will keep posted!

My take on warranty- mod and mod till your heart content, as far as warranty is concern, change to "non recommended tyres" for eg. also will void warranty if you ask any bozos there!

End of the day, its your car, its your $, and its your decision. There is no right or wrong to DMS or Hiop or nothing at all.

What I do know is J4C hasn't got the software to install it onto the new valvetronic straight 6 N54 523/525/530 as of yet so hold your horses all 523 owners. I don't know also if DMS can do it yet on the new engine also. Its a matter of time for the software to be ready. The older engines are possible still i.e. Zag, Totoseow, etc

You should keep stacking for at least 8 times for Zymol to really show. I have been doing so with all my new cars; once in 10 - 14 days dutifully. Now I just send my ride in once in maybe 4 - 6 weeks.

Yeah, I agree, also with what Edlee said. If you mod, it's a calculated risk, we just have to weigh the risks with the potential gains.

Woah, lots of new faces, I think there'll be a big turn out of E60s at the next meetup...good stuff!
