edlee,

Tried to re-created the situation, but couldn't.? You might be right about a bad timing problem.? I remember hitting the central lock and opened the door and almost at the same time.? I then heard some mechanical locking sound right after, but didn't think much of it.? Closed the door but can't recall if it was already locked or locked after the door closed.

Anyway, very gracious of PML to give me the benefit of the doubt.? Will be bringing her in to get her checked out, but doubt if they can find anything.?

Great service from JT.? Was treated like royalty!

thats great to hear the good news that you were well taken care of. I've also got a 523. touch wood no problems with the car so far.

She's the BEST. Bought 2 cars thru her already. Also got a friend to buy from her and I am now looking at buying an M thru her.

The thing about this girl is that she does not bug or pressurise you to buy. Neither does she hard sell. Very patient young person.

I think the 523 should be the best buy in the E60 range. Sure, it does not have plenty of features that the 525 does, but who cares? Its the driving pleasure that youy're looking for. I don't think you will have many problems besides the noises from doors and seats.

The only setback is the road tax; but, hey, remapping will get you almost up to speed with the 525.

Cool, should be fun

Anyone else from our gang going? BTW, you can drive as fast or as slowly on the track as you like, no racing involved....

I'm hoping the PML instructors drive up in the new E90s, then we can all get a try

No worries Ed, PML's instructors will be there to guide you, this is the best chance at getting track experience, with the least risk

Ed, agree with your comments on JT. I actually knew her 10 years ago, when she was a Poly Intern at the company I worked in then. She's still very much the same nice person!

Wow getting an M...5...or M6? You serious?

btw, JT told me you are an expert. Is there any way to replace the rear speakers? Anyone in this forum who has done some serious ICE work on his E60?
