Ed, agree with your comments on JT.? I actually knew her 10 years ago, when she was a Poly Intern at the company I worked in then.? She's still very much the same nice person!

Wow getting an M...5...or M6?? You serious??

btw, JT told me you are an expert.? Is there any way to replace the rear speakers? Anyone in this forum who has done some serious ICE work on his E60?

hi valvetronic. nice ride
i did basic install for my 523 at hong guan.
i'm not very very particular about the ice. just got to be better than stock one which sounds terrible.

i also installed the rgb video on idrive kit as well as a hard drive mp3/video player (http://www.tvix.co.kr/ENG/Products/TVixC3000U.aspx).

will try to get some pictures taken.

Still waiting for the pricing of the M6 before deciding. Anyone in the market for a 545?

I have a friend who replaced all his speakers, added a bass tube and an additional amplifier. I have also heard that you can actually add a couple of amps for the whole system if you're not on L7. If you do not have the rear blind, you can actually mount a couple of bass subs below the rear panel.

Tategoi has posted a picture in his album. Take a look. However, I'd advise that you check around, see for yourself at our next meet what some of the guys have done and then decide. Most importantly, drive for a month or so and have whatever squeak and creak repaired before you ICE your ride because you don't want PML to point their fingers at your mod.

Blackie has quite an elaborate system installed; have not seen it though.

I am no expert. Whatever I know comes from this forum. Its a great place to gather info.

BTW, beautiful ride you have there. Its good that they finally replaced the old 520 rims.

So, Olivin, are you in? If you are, then let me know pronto because I heard response for track day is really very good. Therefore we've got to throw our booking in fast.

Couple of things I just found out.

Firstly, there are only about 10 places left for the Track day.

Second and more importantly, Ferrari and EVO clubs will also be there on the same afternoon. A friend of Sam's will be there with the EVO guys; and these guys are really fast.

I am now very confused. The track has been booked by PML from 1300 to 1600hr - supposedly. The others are supposed to have done the same. Therefore there is no sole usage of the track.

How are greenhorns like myself going to learn anything? Won't there be too many cars on the track at any given time? Wouldn't accidents be encouraged? I suppose there are safety rules in place to ensure that the track does not become too congested. Does that mean that individuals will have very much less time tracking?

Can someone please clarify these points?

Thanks.

Going home early to admire your koi?

The track event is only for 2 days. Should be back by Saturday. Otherwise KL is just 3 hours drive away, leaving at 1300 can still reack Kallang by 1700

There will be 2 groups; one returning on Sat and another on Sun. If you're travelling with the Sun group; and frankly, it'll be straight home to hit the bath and bed instead of Kallang. My opinion only.
