Edlee,

Agree that the CLS is very ugly. My wife said it looks like a toad.

Those two gals don't look like they know how to operate the radars at all. There should be a standing order within the police force on how they should sit whilst performing such duties in public. They really look like a couple of cartoons.

Speaking of which, I was at the traffic light junction of Ang Mo Kio Ave 4 & 5 yesterday evening at about 2210 hr. Pulled up next to an "unmarked" cop car. It was a dark blue Jap model bearing the license plate QX 4425 D. There were two plain clothes cops in the car. The driver was using his Nokia via the phone speaker. The front seat passenger was smoing away. Now, thats what I call bending the rules. Can they do this? I gave them a long hard stare. The driver looked at me and wound up his window and then looked away, all the time carrying on his conversation on the phone.

Such disgusting behavior in public!!!

I remembered not too long ago when some disgusted motorists were asking the Traffic Police as to the accuracy of those lasers when the spokesperson (a woman officer) remarked that it is accurate coz it takes 3 pixs a second!!! :'( :'(

Now, what has accuracy got to do with how many pixs it could snap a second???

Standing orders??? LOL.......LOL!!!

True, wrong procedures.
she is sitting on a case that cost more than 15K and was purchased with our TAXED mones!!

those who gone through NS should remember how we are trained to take care of our equiment and not to sit on them while on duty.

cops that bend laws....look carefully, this WRX is parking on a curb while taken!

the traffic police has posted on the web site to show where the cops will be at, but the way they hide to wait for offenders are not detering people from speeding....but basically to wait and hope that there are people speeding! what an attitude!

by the way, a laser radar should used on a level platform and not a elevated position.
this not only causes convergence error, the speed detected will also be percieved faster when taken at an angle, this is unfair to motorists....
