But the paper work in the 18 page LTA guide is pretty daunting... would going to a good repute PI save all the trouble with minimal costs?

I am just thinking that if we found a way to get this right, it will bring the costs of such models down for the general public as PML would fight back.... so its good news for future generations...

Importing cars from USA may be a problem. From what I hear, the V308 form is only obtainable from the EU or most likely UK in particular. You will not be able to obtain this certification from the USA. Unless anyone here has any insight into importing from the US, I think its best to shelf that idea for now.
Europe or UK is another deal. It is so much easier to import from the UK because our system is very close to theirs and our LTA accepts that cars imported via there follow our restrictions.
The Z4 is a fast aging car. Why not look at something else? I know there is a red M5 bearing the number plate 88 running around in the East. It is a self import. The owner even imported his previous M3. How about the 335i or 330i coupe or maybe even the upcoming M3?

nope I'm a true blue Singaporean
I've sent info on my credit card to other companies, no problems so far.I'll be sending giving my credit card info to expansys, I think they're OK, I've sent the same info to much smaller HK companies in the past.
