Have had the 360 for about 2 wks. To load Malsingmaps, you can use PatchIMG (its a software program) to load the malsingmaps and upload to the Nuvi. However as highlighted at the malsingmaps forum, everything works fine except the 'Search by address' function, which they are looking to solve the issue. I've heard that the Garmin Singapore/Malaysia is fine though...
Good to hear that at last someone has own the nuvi 360!
can you help me to understand somehting which you had mentioned it had been mentioned in malsingmaps.
how can we expect to do an "address search" whereby malsingmaps has not incorporated any addresses in the maps?
for example, we all know that HDB block are not included in the map of singapore, although most of the users think that it is the single most important feature to have. But beggars no choosers, its free.
if i do a address search like 25 tampines, it turn out nothing. does that mean it cannot do address search? but first of all, there isn't any data on 25 tampines road.
whereas if i do 25 tampines in mapking, straight away i got a few possibilities like block 25 tampines st xxx
or 25 tampines road.
the original Malaysia and Singapore by Garmin is different, Garmin has included the addresses in the data and thus we can do an address search.
please let me know what do most people in malsingmaps stated that cannot do "address search" for?orignally, no addresses is programmed in it in the first palce.
just confused.

Now for the headache to come... can anyone direct me to a place where I can get the original Garmin Singapore maps? Would those for the C320 or even Nuvi 300 work? Pls PM me if possible on the files....
Next confusing question (I just paid tuition to learn that Tibo is no good): whilst malsingmaps is good but no HDB blocks and no address search... what use is it? Does it mean that the original Garmin map and the free malsingmaps can be "overlayed"? Very confused... hopefully someone can help the forumers with an Idiot's guide to making Garmin work "perfectly" in Singapore context...
Would Garmin maps (or those from malsingmaps) be able to put our own POI by indicating Longtitude and Latitude or by physically pointing it on the map itself?
Sorry if I sounded like an old record... just trying to put the pieces together....

959sgd total with fedex.
i doubt we can group buy with expansys.
1628, you can wait and see my set before deciding, i order now becos it is so much cheaper than buying in USA.
i will try to put in the Garmin Sin.mal maps and see what happens. For all we know malsingmaps can work on Nuvi 310 except for address search, i believe, to be able to do that, the mappers have alot of work to do because they need to insert the address data before the nuvi can detect address search.
for me, just pay 900 bucks to learn. anyway i need it when i go usa though. all i have to do is to buy the USA city select maps.
i hope i can help more, but i don't have a physical set to try until they send it to me before i can try more on it.
