if your map has the tags on it, likely you are updated. as to whether it is illegal or not, we need a lawyer to answer that....
For your info, someone from BMW.sg forum got booked on Lim Chu Kang doing 160kmh..... he was actually doing 260 kmh with a couple of WRXs. He receive a summon indicating 20 demerit points and must appear in court. Problem is he already has 6 points; this takes him over the 24 points limit. I checked the TP website and it says an automatic suspension of 3 months for exceeding the 24 point limit. But since he has to appear in court, I guess it all depends on the JUDGE. Wishing him well.

On another note, I met Dennis Sim for the first time today. Sent the car in to change the remote control receiver. I use to have to go very close to the car to unlock the doors. I complaint about it some months back and received a call from Dennis last week. Scheduled an appointment and got it replaced within 2 hours. Not a bad experience.

Last week I have also received a call from PML regarding the feedback I had given to a telephone interview a couple of months ago. Better late than never I thought. The person was very polite and sounded very sincere to solve those unsolved problems I had with my car. After reading all the good reviews of Dennis in this forum, I knew it must be him. When I mentioned I heard about him from the forum, he said it must be from Edlee. I guess the password for good service from PML shall be E-D-L-E-E

Ha...Ha...Ha... Not for long. My 545 is in there again. The cylinderhead job didn't work. To top it up, there's now a strange sound during idling. My experience tells me its either the water pump or the pulley bearings. Looks like the 545 is gonna have another couple weeks break at the Kg Arang Hospital. Seems Torsten and another German engineer are gonna take another look at it again. I proposed that Torsten take it home for a week but Dennis was cold to the idea. Lets see what happens next.

I was contemplating trading the E46 in for the 335i when it arrives but have now told my Sales Rep that it will only happen when they sort the 545 out. Lets see.....

The car will be for my son. I tried showing him the IS250 but he's not impressed. I personally don't like FWD cars like the Audi.

I personally am thinking of downgrading the 545 to the GS300 except that I don't like the semi-wood steering and the horrendous headlights. Tried getting myself to like the CLS but our friends here offer very negative feedback. Maybe the Chrysler 300? I was quite a fan of Bruce Lee when he was alive!!!

That'll be jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Frankly, I will be looking for a "comfort" car as I already have the M6 for thrills. Frankly, the last time I chalked up so many demerit points was like twenty years ago.
