On ICE, 12" definitely will sound deeper than 10", but 12" also takes more space. I am happy with my 2 10"s, they don't take up a lot of space, and the bass is good enough for me. In ICE, its not all how good the individual equipment is, but more on how they are being installed and tuned. The cook must know how to do the dishes, no point having all the freshest seafood but he can't cook.

Tony, get 6.5", mount the subwoofer, keep the 701 and use my 701 setting.
i agree with tategoi.
but i love Sashimi though....maybe you can use chicken or ducks instead fo seafood.
By the way, where did you guy put the 701H?
Also, tategoi, did you use a centre channel?

lmk, after fitting all the good amplifiers, speakers and woofers, won't the original lousy headunits in our cars limit the audio performance?

tategoi, your system in your car sounds very good. Was the audio played through your original CD player and headunit?
Yes, the source is the original stock BMW CD and changer. I did not touch the iDrive at all.

Stock: iDrive->speakers

Now: iDrive->processor->amps->speakers

I only added processor and amps to the chain, and change the speakers.

There is a board just behind the rear seat. I mount my Diamond amp and capacitor on the side facing out, you can see them when the boot is opened. The 701 and another amp are mounted on the inner side of the board, you can't see them. The controller of 701 is at my rear armrest, but you can pull it out for tuning while sitting on the driver seat. Initially I asked SM to put in somewhere on the dash, but the cable is not long enough, and they are worried about cutting a hole on the dash.

My 2GB Kingston Ultimate SD has the same cut too... so I don't think it has anything to do with the "cut"???
RSLK,

Do you really need 2GB? I was happy for a while because my the other 2 SD card do not have the cut.

BTW, how do you and Nuvi360 manage to change your nick?

Need to get a Court Order... citing evidence of severe harrassment by local authorised dealer... only then will they allow you a new identity... so that you can continue blogging away... "Its a dog's life".... haha
