Taxi drivers are the worst culprits!!! When they are the offender they just look sgtraight and drive no matter what you do; honk or flash. If you are the offender they will start their hand gestures, etc. There was once Jr was in the ctr lane with both straight and right turn arrows. He intended to turn right and so stayed there when the lights changed to green (whilst awaiting traffic from the opp direction to clear) The taxi driver behind wasn't happy and began flashing and honking. I turned around and saw him gesturing with his hands and promptly got out of the car, went to him, took out my glasses (in a menacing way) and then - anti climax - offered them to him. I pointed the arrows to him but he wouldn't listen and kept shouting - just unreasonable. Thats how taxi drivers get into trouble with the wrong people.

BTW, the trick to access the menu works...but some of the options are in German... anything interesting I shd seek out there?

My experience with taxis were generally pleasant. They are will mostly give way to me whenever I try to change lanes on a heavy traffic road. I realise that it often works when I signal in advance and wave thank you after that.

No prob bro!
frankly, i do not find anything useful in that menu.
Really depends on your ride during programming.
1. they need to cool the engine before programming.
2. they need to go through step by step for each version of software to upgrade.
3. sometimes the computer refuse to be programmed and re-programming needed to go all over again.
the last time, my ride stays overnight just for programming, but worth it.
good luck!

have you experienced when travelling along highways whether in singapore or malaysia, if there is a cop with radar trying their rabbit luck, the oncoming cars from the other side usually flash their headlights and warn you of the trap coming up your way.
i also experienced sitting in a cab, and my usual cab driver own this thingy motorola fleet set. He has a group of kakis communicating with each other every now and then.
They wil warn each other of traffic jams and cops with speed traps too.
I was thinking maybe we should send out group sms to warn each other of speedtraps and traffic situation.
info will be from those on the road.
not easy , but just a thought.
