Whatever the design doesn't matter. A building is just a show piece. So what if they got GOLDEN TAPS in the common toilets? So what if all their CSAs wear ARMANI? Just give better service. I don't mind driving all the way to Sungei Kadut if I am assured the service level there is good.

Don't need the TUV cert. I believe PML has unbrella coverage for all ACS exhausts. Will need PML inv to the last owner, invoice from the current owner to you plus the LTA approval letter. I think that will about cover it. For more info, can ctc Vincent Tan of LTA Engineering. Sorry but I forgot his number.
Ed,
Problem is the ACS Exhaust I got has got the Type Approval only for 520, 525 and 530. For my ride (523) the Type Approval is different. Therefore, I have to make an individual application (the Umbrella Coverage) doesnt apply. After speaking to several people at LTA, I somehow got referred to Vincent Tan. I am now awaiting his call for further advice. Damn headache!

Just change the badge to 525i lah. Afterall your engine is also 2.5L.
If they say how come yours is slightly different, then you add a pair of wing flaps and tell them yours is a "special" edition.

Disclaimer: Do so at your own risk. I am not responsible.

You've got the right guy. Vincent is very helpful. His office is at Sin Min in the bldg next to the main LTA bldg. If you've got time in your hands, either call or visit him to explain what Stranger & LMK mentioned. That may get you the approval because PML will definitely not get you the TUV. As far as I can see, you're alone on this one because you did not make the purchase from them.

BTW, if PML has run out of wing flaps and you can't wait, then go to China Town. You will find replicas of "The Flash" there. Cut the two little wings from the sides of his head and stick them to where those fakes cut the gills for the M5. That will surely do!!!

I had Broquet Fuel Catalyst and Hurricane air filters installed in my 525i for some time now and I've takened them for granted and have also began to wonder if they have any effect on the car at all.

I'll be selling / exporting my 525i, so I removed my Broquet + Hurricane filter during lunch today. I can feel that my car takes a longer time to rev up to 6500rpm immediately! Looks that it wasn't a wasted investment after all.

Ed, still with the wing flaps eh? Hahaha! Ok I'll try to go China Town at "20000 hours"!

Anyways, Vincent Tan called me early this morning and explained to me that there is no way LTA is gonna approve the ACS exhaust since it is not meant for my ride. Apparently ACS has got another model with a new Type Approval. Sianz.

Make a long story short, I returned the ACS exhaust to the guy I bought it from and have since installed Remus. To my surprise, I found out that ACS and Remus is exactly the same (sounds the same too) with the exception of the tips; ACS is made by Remus and even has Remus logo on it.

If any of you out there is interested in the ACS exhaust, it is still for sale. The BMW.sg forumer bought it in January this year and is gonna upgrade it to something louder and fiercer! The exhaust is still spanking new save some dirt and will only fit older versions of e60 (i.e. 520, 525 and 530). Let me know if you are interested and I will hook you guys up.

Another little project done!
