Hi Jewell. Welcome to the forum.

Wow Jeremy. I am sure your ride can give me a fight anytime now. You going to Genting with us?

I read an article at Germancarfans.com that BMW Germany does not void your warranty should you temper with the speed limiter. That article was in respect to the M and they were indicating that they may do away with the limiter once and for all.

However, as I mentioned, that was with regards to the M. I wonder if I can ask PML to do away with my limiter. What speed can I achieve then?

Welcome Jewel.

Pml probably might. Even if they do, you will need to sign a disclaimer form saying you will not hold PML or BMW AG responsible in any event should you exceed 250km/h blah blah blah...

Would be grateful if you could disclose where did you get the DMS chip installed and how long did the installation take ? I am keen to do something about my ride's pickup especially the low revs.

I definitely won't have a problem with signing that. Its my life and my responsibility; so long as I know when to abuse the power of this machine. Did not buy this monster just to strut around town. Even if it is just once, must try the max.
