Zag,
Did Carbaflo work?? Did they remove the friction tape?? If they need 5 days to solve those problem, my guess is that they also changed the brake pads.
Mine has 7000km shown and I have done approx 12500 km - question is does the front brake pads work only for 20,000 km?

yes they change brake pads for me!
They need more time to fix the rattling noise in the steering/dashboard area. dunno what the hell is that..it happened only on rough tarmac and it goes rrrrrrrrr... rrrrrrr.... pretty soft.
They wanted to pull out the whole dashboard and need another 2 days.. i said no way and i'll take the car now and live with it till it gets real bad than i'll send it in.
Driving the hyundai for five days is painful enough and an't going thru weekend w/o my e60.

Zag, do you mean that a Hyundai was used as a loaner car for your 530?

My CSA automatically prep loaner car for me whenever i come in with tonnes of things to be fixed.
After fixing the door creaks and now it is all quiet but i can hear the centre arm rest at the back rattling now. So put cloth of the catch? Tategoi?
KiasuKing.. this thread has become kiasu thread and "buay si" one

Yes, just put a piece of cloth on the catch and that should stop the rattling.
I am surprised that PML give loaner Hyundai. IMHO BMWs should be used as loaner cars. Staff bought cars at huge discounts, they should let the customers use them when the needs arised.
My driver's side windows rattles whenever its up, something is loose in there. When its slightly down no rattle.

[/quote]I wouldn't know if a Hyundai is better than the old 320i I got the last time - it reeks of petrol and has a damaged cat. converter - drinks even more than a 530i and has dents/scratches all over !
Come to think of it, Zag, I remembered very well, that our Friend telling me he was driving a 530i for a few days (just about those few days you have to suffer in a Hyundai) and found that the ACCEPT message isn't that of an annoyance!
Is a loaner a privilege or an entitlement? Is PML obliged to offer one? Do we have a choice?
