I think something is not right with the ECU in the E60. Quite often, the engine has a heavy drag at low gear as if the first gear refuses to shift to second. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Did you experience this while going down-slope (even very gentle gradient) with intention to accelerate but decided not to and the gear just stays on low and refusing to change when it clearly should ?

I do experience this as describe above with the E60 (and even with my E39), but this only happens once in a very very blue moon !

I usually switch to the steptronic manual and shift to a higher gear.

i m thinking of going down...some of the guys there hv the ears of pml seniors...

maybe we can seek some help...wot do u guys say?

I wouldn't know if this meet will get the ears of PML seniors.. Personally I haven't known of any that would attend such a meet.

In fact if they are suspected to be lurking in this board, they were invited by yours truly; and if they do listen (with their eyes in this case) they will get their act together.

But they will listen if we get together and present a good case... united = strength

I wonder how long it takes to reach page 100.
Or will this thread die before it reaches the 100th page?
Will it ever die?

Hi there,

Anyone knows where (in S'pore) I can purchase AC Schnitzer front lip for the E60. How much in total incl. installation?
