the adaptive xenons costs 1500+ as an option...when i optioned it.

As for the MMI, lots of button surrounding the knob...kinda defeat the purpose, when one spent couple of hours with a car and at that instance have to learn to figure out the i-drive, you can see pretty well why everyone who writes the review finds it challenging.
If you pick up a copy of "wheel" on 530i review, the chap sticks a pic what looks to me like a diesel engine and call it the 3.0 liter inline 6.

In fact lots of stuff on Bimmers may not be that useful, but are just cool to have eg. adaptive xenons, toto says they're not much use, but I would love to have them on my ride

The E-klass isn't worth thinking about in anything but E500 upwards, E55 would be best. I wouldn't mind a E55 matched with that new 7 speed autobox. And at least in the E500, you get airmatic suspension as standard.

eggz, we are al talking like this because we can afford the E60. To some people, they would be damn happy if they can drive the Suzuki Liana.
