Oh ya...now my e60 got two more dents at the back door....Kiasu, in singapore, hard to prevent all these lah. You have to make yourself used to all these. Don't be too sad, after your paintwork, it will look pretty as before

sg520, I'd really love to see your car in person. I have not seen a re-sprayed panel that is as good as the original.

Hahaha...tategoi...u can tell the diff? It is very hard lah...I learned this from the paintshop boss...I am not sure what he said is true...Let say yours is silver grey...mine is a silver grey as well, if I fix your bumper into my car, you can see two diff color. In this case, he will spray the bumper with silver grey color to match to the rest of the car. I asked him how to make it match to the rest of the car, he said this is skill.... If what he said it true, we can go to any shop that has good spray painting skill. I heard sin ming also have quite a few good shop. The only thing is the price.

For the first few days, you can tell it is resprayed becos of the smell of the paint. After 1 week, you show to your friend, nobody believes it was being resprayed. Anyway, I am used to resprayed. I heard those 2nd car dealer also sent the used car to "touch-up", and usually a small portion of it being resprayed to make the car looks good. Eventually we won't be able to tell if this is original or resprayed.

For such a beautiful e60, I think kiasu better respray it. It will be an eyesore and so sick of it if everyday got to see it. Sigh...now i have two dents on the door again...even I try to avoid them...park near pillar or park in a standalone lot...still get it..

All 2004 production cars (imported by PML) have Xenon as standard.

PML parts manager told me xenon retrofit with adaptive headlights on 520i will cost about $6,000. At this price, I rather adapt my head and neck to the road.

I think the non adaptive bi-xenon should be cheaper?!
Most of the Xenon equipped e60 are non adaptive unless you pay extra for that option. The 520i referred to by Tategoi is non adaptive.

Read the latest Sept motoring magazine, feature the 525i against Jaguar S-type and Merc E240. Again here they critisized the i-drive again. Audi MMI is better. Yawn!
