Guys,

How long is the wait for a E60 in Singapore?
Read in the "Meeting of the E60s, Singapore" post that Edlee ordered 545i in May and will get it in November. That's a long time. What's the normal waiting time if not waiting for a certain build date (as Edlee is waiting for a September build)?

If you are buying ex-stock, you can get it in around 3 weeks. Ex-stocks are those that had arrived which had been ordered by the dealer with options it had chosen. You can't select the options you want. But if you are building your own car, then it might take about 6 months. I have a friend booked a 525i in March, and to be delivered only in September. I bought mine ex-stock, ordered in early June, and ready to deliver by late June.

Hi tategoi,

How long did it take you to decide to dump those run flats for the Pirellis?
Don't you think it's a bit of a waste to throw away perfectly serviceable tyres?

I ordered beginning of March 2004 and got the car late May 2004, about 3 months. It's faster now, for my previous car, a E46 I had to wait almost 5 months.

I think Edlee's car is taking a long time to come because he's chosen to wait for a 2005 car which they won't start building till sept 2004.

Fortunately my ride did not come with run-flats, and I don't have to think too much about dumping the stock puny 16" 134.

So what did you do with the 16" rims?
