which winner? West coast or east coast? Send the east coast winners his as well, since it's being sent unpainted. shouldn't be any delay with that.

After waiting 5 months I finally received my kit painted. Over the weekend I went to my local body shop and asked them to install my kit. While taking the kit out of the boxes my autobody guy pointed out to me how shotty the paint job was. I will post pics later on this forum of the horrible paint job I got. So I waited 5 months got a terrible paint job all to save a buck. At the end of the day I end up paying more money than if I would of went to the dealership from the beginning. I wish I never ordered the kit from Quad M. Before ordering I checked this site and everyone had something positive to say about his work. Waiting for 5 months and I still got a rush paint job =(

First off, I think Tony is a nice guy. He does provides us a means to get kits and other parts at decent prices. He's also polite.

I think this thread is a good idea. E60 members are very finicky- as they should be with such awesome cars. But I think his wait time is too long.

When I ordered my kit, I was assuming that I would get my kit painted in a month's time. It took 3 months. Way too long.

Also, the paint was definitely not up to par. Mine may have been the only one, but it definitely was not a decent job. Vincent at EuroRev can vouch for it. In the end, I had the front and rear repainted with Jimmy (next to EuroRev). Tony was a decent guy tho, and credited me $200. I paid the rest to have it repainted.

IMO- order the kits from Tony if you can wait the 3 months, but get them painted locally. It may cut down on the wait time and you will get a much more perfect match.

Again, just my own personal experience, but I feel everyone was so "scared" to post any negative reviews which doesn't help other forum members. We are so "worried" about affecting Tony's business, but if there are universal problems with his business, we should freely and openly discuss on this forum. That is the reason why I like this forum. It provides accurate and reliable information from experienced and knowledgeable E60 owners.

Customer Service:

After reading all the positive reviews on Tony i was suckered in myself to buy from him. Ordered a M5 front bumper painted from Tony last June about midway through the month. He told me it would take until end of July. When August came still no bumper, so i kept patiently waiting and waiting. Finally after a 3 1/2 month wait i recieved my bumper, and after inspecting the bumper there were overspray! not only that but there weren't PDC holes as I have requested for. Called Tony the next day and he had ups come to my house to pick it up. Told me it would take 2 weeks to recieve the bumper. Two weeks came up and what do you know, no bumper! Called Tony again and was told it would take another month. When i recieved it the bumper was very very poorly painted, in numerous areas there were very obvious running paint one was about 6 inches long! On top of that there were little specs of unpainted spots that looked like i had rock chips already. Told me he would give me $200 to refund the paint job! I paid almost $200 just to remove the paint. I was also missing hardware with my bumper that took another 2 weeks. My overall experience was horrible.

The rear bumper wasn't packaged well and had some rubbing damage, I was able to touch it up. The front bumper has a couple paint blemishes. The right side skit has a fly stuck in the paint (actually stuck in the clear coat - damn!). The diffuser has an area where the clear coat ran and globbed up. Over all, I received my kit in 5 weeks. I paid $2350 for it (then I had to pay another $540 in German customs fees - grrrrrrr! - $2890 total) and the paint is far from perfect. I can say that it looks great on the car and this episode in my life is over.

I could have ordered the kit from my German BMW dealer delivered from the factory painted for $3070 and had it in 7 days. In the end, I wish I would have done that and not had to go through this. Good luck to all that still have orders in, Tony is trying to make everyone happy.

yes I do try now hard to make everyone happy, but we cant do anything if you are in rush and there is a fly? under the clear coat, you called me around 5 times a day to make sure if I shipped or not. and the kit was delivered in 2 days to germany. I sold it for $2350 and I cant control your customs duty charges sir.

not EVEN OEM BMW parts are painted perfectly! i do see many blemishes, dirt clear ran on many stock bumpers and pre-painted factory M spoilers and see the post of jdhart73 he even claims the same fact when he installed his kit.None of the painted kits will never ever be perfect just to let you know.
