yes I do try now hard to make everyone happy, but we cant do anything if you are in rush and there is a fly? under the clear coat, you called me around 5 times a day to make sure if I shipped or not. and the kit was delivered in 2 days to germany. I sold it for $2350 and I cant control your customs duty charges sir.

not EVEN OEM BMW parts are painted perfectly! i do see many blemishes, dirt clear ran on many stock bumpers and pre-painted factory M spoilers and see the post of jdhart73 he even claims the same fact when he installed his kit.None of the painted kits will never ever be perfect just to let you know.

Alright Tony,

Let's get the whole story out. How was it "rushed"? I was not part of a group buy. You initially told me it would be two weeks, then when I paid you said three weeks, then when you called me you said "give it a month." I was fine with that. I watched as everyone was getting pissed that you can't manage your business and expect people to shell out several thousand dollars and then just wait for you to get your poop in a group and send them the parts they PAID for. So, when I was told I could deploy to fullfill a no-notice deployment, I didn't want to screw with this from Iraq. I PAID you another $650 for the rear bumper at the one month point, which is when you said I would have my kit and you had not even painted it yet. Crazy me for thinking you would keep your word or at least contact me to let me know that you were behind, but nope, that didn't happen. You leave it to your customers to keep track of their orders. It still took you a week to get my kit to me. A total of five weeks. How is five weeks a "rush" job. I don't give a crap about your problems. When you told me the price, I paid immediately and then you delivered what I paid for on your own timeline. - Completely Unacceptable. See, then you pull the "no refund" gimmick which ensures that folks will be subject to your timeline because not many folks are willing to pay you for a kit they may have to wait over six months for and order one from another, reliable source.

My parents have been business owners for as long as I can remember and you, my friend, are no business owner. You are a guy who is in over his head.

About the multiple calls. That happened in ONE day. You TOLD me to call you back and when I did, you had NOT done your part and asked me to call back again and again, and again. Apparently I NEEDED to call you several times to ensure you did what I PAID you to do. Never mind that I was calling from Germany. I have been on many forums over the years and have never been treated the way you have treated me and the other members of this forum.

When you pay for something, do you think it is okay for the seller to get you the part when the get around to it?

In your ad you should state "send me your money and I will get you your part when I get to it." At least then buyers would have an honest assessment of when they can expect to see what they paid for.

As for your comment about "not even BMW parts are painted perfectly," I would suspect that my dealer wouldn't hand over a side skirt with a fly stuck in the clear coat.

NO SIR, IT WAS NOT A RUSH JOB - FIVE WEEKS. I would hate to see your slow work. I have learned a little saying in my 15 years in the Air Force (not Army). Piss poor planning on your part does not precipitate an emergency on mine.

And to think that you asked me several times to post a "positive reply here to get the guys off your back."

Sure, I'll tell you. You fix it first, then ship it. As you're doing so, you communicate with the buyer that it will be an extra day. In your supposed "T&C's", you might want to mention this as part of your quality control/final inspection process. However, I do not suggest taking this as an opportunity to excuse yourself from delaying your products even further. Hopefully, the body shop is doing these jobs in an air tight, dust-free environment and is using competent painters to do the job.

To other members - Am I missing something here? Is it just me? If he checks the quality of the parts and see's that a paint job is bad, does he still ship it? Or does he notify the customer that upon final inspection, prior to packing and shipping, a few blemishes were noticed and are being fixed. It will then ship the next day or the day after. I just think he's over his head. This type of work is not a one-man show and it's abundantly clear that quantity is taking over quality and timeliness. When Tony joined this board 2 years ago, the order flow was not what it is today. His customer base has grown significantly, but his operation remains the same. Not good. Tony - I think you should source multiple body shops and possibly hire a few associates or assistants. I think that will help a lot. If you can't support this growth, you might want to consider not selling these kits anymore. People shouldn't have to wait 6 months. It's just not right.

Lastly - When are you shipping the UNpainted deck lid spoiler to the winner of the East Coast meet? There should be no hold-ups with this, as it's not being painted by you. The winner agreed to have it painted locally and spend their own money, to have it immediately. Do I still need to wait 3 weeks for an unpainted part?
once again, I will ship the unpainted M5 spoiler to him tomorrow. I did send the M trunk finisher to Roy-khooger last saturday.
I always check before I send but we are human beings and can miss couple of spots since we always wrap them
after dark and ship around 7pm. I am not perfect ,nothing is perfect in life we all know it!

I dont see any 6 months wait for the last list I just posted except houbmw's spoiler which already sent overnight last week.
and now lokoloko's rear bumper will be done which he has been waiting on.

just to let you know I am really frustated which looks like you guys reached your goal in that sense.
and there is nothing i can do but work hard to complete these kits and be over with.

there are many people including you bashing day and night but I have a limit too.

and one more thing Calton, I dont ship if I see anything wrong and I do call the customer and let him know before its shipped and ask
to authorize if its ok to ship which I did couple times before.

maybe I should contact one by one or email for those member here and were extremely happy with paint job service etc.
there are more or less 10-15 members complaining for these things and I need to find the rest (around 100+ buyers)

I really do appreciate to point out BAD/negative parts of my services etc but I need my part to be listened as well..

you are missing the whole point here, when you make the payment I give you a ball park and never it is a exact date.
yes you did get the GB or discounted price which I have been giving since 2 years in this forum, every single member
who purchased it they got the parts at the discounted price since word of mouth is the key to make more sales.
except the ones who paid extra amount of money for their orders to be done separately.

when you make the payment, I order the parts or I keep the ones for your specs and when we finish with the
Previous orders made before than you then we start to work on yours, its not like ..ok, lets hold the parts
and dont do anything and ship whenever we want to or feel like it..NO .

I have orders coming in from ebay store, from website phone orders and forum here so imagine that. onto that
I put your order before than couple people in line just because you cant wait because of your condition .

Jody,I hope you understand clearly above stated information sir.

ps: if the bug stuck in it really bothers you I am willing to send you another new one at my cost
so it wont bug you anymore! (pm sent let me know about it)

if the customer is calling you non stop and emailing you about it and tells you I need to have it 2 days later max for a international
destination trust me you dont have ANY time to go over and see anything wrong with it. thats why i hate to rush things like that
they always have something wrong somewhere on them.

once again I do apologize for those who received their things late or had problems
I do understand and I will do anything to make it better. I do appreciate the comments.

HAHA....reading all this has been addictive, its like a crazy soap opera! Ill have to admit Tony is definitely taking his lumps on this posting, I hate to see anyone get bashed like that, but I guess when a person's money and excitement gets crushed by unanticipated waiting its hard for that someone not to take it personal.

I think I already said my peace about my experience with Tony, but I will take his defense on this topic. When he finally completed my kit there was a small defect in the paint when Tony did his inspection and he promptly called me that day and even sent me pictures from his IPhone before he shipped out, asking for my authorization. Although I cannot attest if he does that with everyone, but he did it with me and to me that was pretty stand up, so I did appreciate that! Thanks TONY!

Anyway I am sure once he gets caugh up and he proves himself again he'll be back in most of the members good graces!

GL there Sir!

Tony,

after reading that...

STOP BEGGING YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR GOOD FEEDBACKS!!!

Solve the issues and don't waste so much time sending PM's, with a plea for help, and don't waste so much time reading and posting here.

SOLVE THE FREAKIN' ISSUES MAN!

And now I make this very clear for you:
I did NOT say, your customers have to check and then send it back if there are problems!

YOU have to check it right away when you take delivery from your paint shop!
This is YOUR responsibility!!!

The more I read how you fool your customers, the more I feel the anger growing in me.

I have never done business with Tony...... and I would NEVER EVER do it, after reading all that online drama here!

SHAME ON YOU, TONY!

i'm glad you made that note. to the unwitting new forum members, your previous responses to quad_m under the moderator handle may have looked like an official position of the e60 forum. the disclaimer that this is your personal opinion definitely helps to clear up any confusion.

Just send me the unpainted deck lid spoiler this week and I will give it to the winner, who is not a member on this board. You PM'ed me last week asking for my help, but when I gave you advice, you didn't listen. I know you're getting beat up on this thread, but it's the reality of the situation. If you wish to keep making excuses, then it's your own demise.

I can't talk about this anymore. It's a waste of energy. Please send me the UNpainted deck lid finisher this week. I sent you my address in 2 separate PM's.

Thank you.
