Iceman, I agree with Jake. The thread is titled "Buying Experiences from member quad_m". So it is not all about bashing quad_m but also sharing positive experiences that Jake has done. As a mod, it is totally not right to get emotional and accuse members of taking bribe or posting on request of someone else - this thread is emotional enough, but the mods should stay on top of things!

I don't know why some of you guys are having hard time understanding it, but Iceman's post was specifically addressing the editing of prior posts to remove criticism or negative feedback.
That's what happened here, and it's not in anyone's best interests for members to do that as it quite simply paints a false picture of the member's true buying experience. Iceman's position is entirely justified. Editing that completely changes the intent or meaning of posts relating to buying experiences is an incredibly bad idea. To do so does a potentially grave disservice to the entire E60.net community, as members on here may subsequently read them and rely upon them without realizing that history has been re-written. In the situation that Iceman describes, the reader has no idea that what may now contain praise was once entirely justified criticism. The reverse, of course, holds equally true.
Ultimately, neither scenario paints a wholly honest and accurate picture and that harms the integrity of the marketplace that has been created here on E60.net.
The comment about being paid to do so was a throwaway remark. It was quite clearly hypothetical, and was not in any way part of the substantive point that Iceman was making.

I think people are dissapointed because ICEMAN is a mod and supposed to stay somewhat neutral while looking out for the good of the forum community, But it would appear he has a beef with Quadm, that is just my take? I am glad he is calling Tony to the carpet on his extreme tardiness but I think some of the tactics left a bit to be desired. I am not a mod nor do I care to be so these are simply my opinions.
I UNDERSTAND about the erasing post thing dude...you beat that horse until it was dogfood. In the future I will simply ADD an edit to the end of the original post stating my quam was satisfied.
And nobody is naive enough to think the "being paid to do so" was a throwaway remark..come on man...
And if there is someone paying people to say pleasantries then sign me up, I need all the help I can get feeding this MOD addiction I have!!!!!Jake

I THINK people are talking about other issues, but I could be wrong?

One less person on Tony's list
I hope I can get the rest of my stuff as promised this week.
BTW, I think your rear bumper is off just a little bit, on the right side by the tailight. It looks like it could go up a little to meet the quater perfectly and also close the gap between the light and the bumper. Maybe its the picture ?? Maybe its me ??
Otherwise, looks beautiful.
