You don't need to be a customer of him to be upset and to understand this.

If you are not a politician... Is it shady to talk about politics then?

It sure sounds like it!!!

That should NOT be done!!!

NEVER EVER again, please!!!

Tony talked everybody that had complaints into editing the post when the issue was solved, so that he can tell others he never had complaints!

By changing the history you are NOT doing ANY good for this community!!!

DON'T DO IT!!!

Even if you would be offered money for it.

Thank you.

Look here....I am a puppet for nobody including Tony. Its offensive that you even suggest he told me what to say!

If this is not a SLAMFEST then why am I being berated for doing exactly what the thread title asks..."POST GOOD or BAD EXPERIENCES??

My post had already been copied multiple times, nobody is being misled here? I doubt he can cover this 300 post thread up no matter how hard he tries..LOL. If its a cardinal sin to remove a post then I will not do it in the future, as you can see I am fairly new here so have not read the entire forum bible yet.
I am very appreciative of this forum and its members as well as the MANY vendors I have done business with in the short time I have been here. I find value in ALL of the feedback here which is why I donated to the site.

You suggesting I was paid money to say something is ludacris????
I had a good experience period, initially it was very polluted with miscommunication etc. but in the end I could not be happier, why does this upset you?

Do with it what you will but my experience was good...if people can WARN others NOT to do business with Tony it is certainly within my rights to suggest that they DO business with him because they will most likely get a quality product like me.
The guy busted his butt to get me my kit in the agreed time and I appreciate it, its unfortunate not everyone has had the same experience but this is mine.

Thanks for your feedback
Jake

Iceman, I agree with Jake. The thread is titled "Buying Experiences from member quad_m". So it is not all about bashing quad_m but also sharing positive experiences that Jake has done. As a mod, it is totally not right to get emotional and accuse members of taking bribe or posting on request of someone else - this thread is emotional enough, but the mods should stay on top of things!

I don't believe that Iceman accused anyone in taking bribes or anything. He simply said "Don't do it even if someone is offering you money in return" as an extreme example.

I do agree this is a thread about both good and bad experience. And you can see there are some good ones, nobody said anything inapporiate about them. Its just that Jake posted something bad in the beginning and then went back to change it after he got his stuff from quad_m. This behavior pattern has been seen before by Iceman (and it was obvious), he wanted to point it out that it is not good for the community. The Mod is on top of things here. Keep up the good work!

+1. It's not helpful for anyone when history is rewritten and negative feedback in an earlier post is edited and replaced with positive feedback. Iceman is 100% correct on this.

Hello ! I bought my full m tech kit with m5 mirrors from Tony, i had to be patient, and got frustrated a couple of times during the time i had to wait, but HONESTLY at the end when i got my parts the time i waited was worth it. The paint matched PERFECTLY, and even my local painter said that not many people can paint as good as the painter who painted the parts. NO ONE, REALLY, NO ONE wanted to ship the parts to Norway (outside USA), I asked Gary also, he said no they dont ship outside US , and Tony shipped it as next day delivery. I am sure it must have cost him A LOOOT. He has great prices, i saved at least 1500 usd. I am sure Tony is doing his best so that everyone can get their parts. My buying experience with Tony (including some frustration) overall was a good experience.
And YES, I WILL BUY FROM TONY AGAIN. Thanks Tony for everything.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets the feeling that someone's been on a PM spree...

I think thats an innapropriate example because it puts the idea in peoples' head that someone has been paid in the past to
say something on behalf of another or delete posts for cash. Why even use that example...as a mod just simply ask me not to delete previous posts and I will understand and comply as I have.

Maybe I am getting this all wrong but it just seems Iceman has it in for Quadm? Its not productive to provoke but that is just my personal opinion....

Well this has been played out to the max and there is not a lot more to say, I simply wanted to post my good experience and I have done that.

Thanks,
Jake
