Strange glitch... Called them and fixed everything. 74 Euros per night is correct.

Great organization Guys!! (as always...)
I wish we could join you, but as you know we have to skip this meet based on our current exceptional conditions (Blanka's due day is approaching very fast, it's 24th of June, but she already feels like could be any day now
I'll keep my fingers crossed so the meet runs great (as always....)
and you: please keep fingers for us and the little one...

Sanjay, CONGRATS!!!! You'll soon join the club!!!!
And apparently: what a great club! We keep our fingers crossed for Sathia!
Sorry to hear about your gearbox problems though.. if you want to (somehow) stop by on your way over to Munich, and take our E60 for a nice trip - let me know! We have a second "hospital-transportation" sitting in the garage so we can give this baby a weekend off ...

(she's at the dealership this morning till Tuesday for brake-job + fresh T?V, so she'd be like new for the MEET

Silly question about driving in M?nchen (or other big, German cities):

Do we non-German drivers need some sort of "environmental sticker" in our windshield to drive in the city? And if so, where do we buy this from? ADAC?

Also check out the info I posted in the April-08 meet thread (there's a link in my sig, but you'll need to troll through the whole thread to find it)

We arrive in Germany on Thursday, which is a holiday. So, should I just try to find an ADAC office or something in Kassel, to buy this sticker? Or could we all go buy them together after we meet up in W?rzburg on Friday?

Any advice is appreciated!

IIRC Kassel is already an in-scope city, so you would not want to drive into the city without the sticker. I would recommend trying to identify ADAC offices along your route to Kassel and stopping in there. Alternatively, you will most likely find larger petrol stations located just outside the city or umweltzone limits that will issue you with the stickers (albeit with your registration hadwritten rather than printed).

It's also worth noting that Bremen, Hannover and the entire Ruhr industrial area (Oberhausen - Bottrop - Gelsenkirchen - Dusseldorf - Koln conurbation) are also already active, so you should find motorway rest stops and/or gas stations just outside these areas that will also provide you with the stickers

Thanks for that, MacSid!

I am going to guess that the ADAC offices will be closed on Thursday, so a gas station will have to do. We are driving from Travem?nde to Kassel on that first day, so obviously, we need to get the sticker as soon as possible after our arrival.

Patrick, try also T?V and/or Dekra stations along your route. I am sure some will be open despite it being a public holiday. You'd also want to do online searches for gas stations along your route to find out exactly which ones will have the stickers (when I got mine, I googled feinstaubplakette+k?ln and among the links were listings of gas stations)

Looks like ADAC offices have no authority to hand out stickers (see this pdf document)
