the initial reply from the hotel is that we'd need to book 9 total rooms at a minimum to qualify for a "group rate". I'm waiting for a reply to see if they can beat the 89 euro "book it now" option I saw on their website. If people are in, I can start locking in reservations. i'll have to check with their customer service to see if we'd all get upgraded if I make the reservations since I'm a platinum "frequent stayer" with their hotels... it'd be pretty cool if they could put us all up on the club floor together at least.

Well crap.
This morning, I returned from a road trip/meeting tour of Sweden, and it is now clear that I must be back in Sweden for the weekend (Thursday-Saturday) that this meet is planned for.
I had already checked out ferries, hotels and routes for the meet at the Welt. Damn.
I do hope that you guys take some excellent pictures!!
And if there is ever a meet planned for anywhere near or north of Hamburg, I am there.
