My Ride: 2007 530i. Purchased 6/28/07. Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. I have never seen such a laughing Kimi ever,
he just drove the small Fiat to peaces and had fun.

This could easily be done with heavy restrictions monitored by a FIA approved steward/s:
1 car only (blow up, crash or major component failure.....too bad, test is over)
A 1 day 2 sessions test w/40 laps max(including recon. warm up & cool down) or
A 2 day (1 session each day) 40 laps max over the 2 days.
2 sets of tires only.
Very limited adjustments....few wing adj. that's it.
No telemetry of any kind.
No downloading of stored data. (deleted at the end of the test)
Very limited radio communications.
The car remains under Parc ferm? conditions for the entire test.
The last thing anyone wants to see is a heavy crash resulting in serious or fatal injuries to one of the sports legends because he planted an unfamiliar F60 into the armco during Fri practice in Valencia. It would be a colossal disaster, the likes of which F1 may never survive. Keeping my fingers crossed (for the sake of all) we never see that nightmare realized.
