Obviously there is not a lot of love for the styling of the new cars at the minute, especially the width of the front wing.
Does anyone think the width of these will make an increase in the number of front wings damaged/lost in racing incidents??

Successful shakedown for new BMW Sauber
The first day of testing for BMW Sauber?s 2009 car went without a hitch on Tuesday. After the launch of the F1.09 at Valencia in the morning, Robert Kubica had the privilege of completing the car?s maiden run at the Spanish circuit.
Kubica?s day finished 73 laps later, during which time car ran trouble-free, as the German-Swiss team began the on-track development of the machine they hope can take them to their first world title.
Taking advantage of the sunny weather in the afternoon, BMW Sauber concentrated on system checks and collecting base data from the all-new car. It will start its first proper day of testing on Wednesday.
"It was a good shakedown without a technical problem,? said Kubica. ?Although the track was missing a little bit of grip because there was only one car running, we already learned a lot about how the car is responding to set-up changes."
"Despite being a brand new car, the BMW Sauber F1.09 had a very successful shakedown. All systems worked perfectly. We could even do some basic tests like several race start simulations," added Walter Riedl, Managing Director of BMW Sauber AG.
The team will continue testing in Valencia until Saturday. Kubica will again be at the wheel of the F1.09 on Wednesday and Thursday. Nick Heidfeld will take over on Friday and Saturday.
