My Ride: 2007 530i. Purchased 6/28/07. Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. Maybe if danica enters F1, then all this talk of caps and rules will end. Surely all it takes is danica to slap max on his behind to get the man going. Its clear he likes that sort of thing. 
On a serious note, the top teams who are there to win and showcase the best need to move away from the FIA series Formula 1. Perhpas an American investor needs to start a series here using the older rules that FIA had back in the 90s or 80s as a building block.
Let the under-achievers race in formula 1 instead since thats what FIA are out to manufacture. What a load of rubbish both Max and Bernie have been giving us for many so many years. They have together strangled the most exciting racing series into a nerdy Playstation sport.
Forget FIA. Create a new super exciting sport thats based on team/driver/car. Winning is all motor racing is about.
Ferrari are right to take FIA to court. For years these top teams have been putting huge sums of money and staff in the sport to compete 100%. past few years though, FIA have been talking about cutting costs BUT all their constant rule changes have not solved the problems but infact are adding to wasted money. Why do they change so many rules. When one is just put in place and teams trying to make the best of it, the studip fools go and make another rule change.
The KERS are a waste of time and money. The rules to use soft and hard tyres per race are a waste of money. Changing engine rules and design are a waste of money. Fooling around with Aero EVERY single year is a waste of money. Adding new tracks and making the teams race in new lands are a waste of money. Why not stick to what has worked in the past?
If they want to limit anything, it should be the cost of travelling, the cost of those huge entertainment centres teams build up at every race and the extravagant luxuries they take on every trip. Thats a waste cause the ones who benefit are just the super rich bimbos like that pussycat donkey who get invited for such events, and those rich sponsors. Whats in it for the racing Fan? NOthing!!
Racing engines should never be made to last more than 2 races including gearboxes. Its wrong. Its like asking these models to wear burkhas all their life. When I look at it, I only hold max and bernie for truly spoiling Formula 1. The teams have done well so long to put up with their rubbish and its time the teams claw back some god damn common sense!!!!!!!
