Pity he can't take the number of wins record or number of championship wins or number of times on podium or..... or..... or... or.... or.... or....!!!

I do give credit to Heidfield for most self believing driver out there. Despite his lack of speed, he will still fend off any other driver from the back who has a much faster car. Top marks there.!

cheers

And McLaren fans the world over rejoice at the news...

Anyway, nice to see that the USF1 team will be racing next season - budget rules, or no budget rules.

I don't think McLaren is any happier with the proposed changes than Ferrari. None of the larger teams have anything to gain from the cap as it has been proposed by the FIA. Most of them support reasonable limits, but the FIA proposals are nothing of the sort.

Only the idiot ones will......it is time for ALL the teams to stand together for the survival of the sport, an opportunity was lost in 05 when Ferrari bailed on the others, a repeat by teams like McLaren (just to spite Ferrari) would mortally wound the sport.

I need to find a sarcasm smiley... And the sarcasm was meant in relation to some Ferrari fans' elation when McLaren took its beat down by the FIA.

Yes, and of course you are right with regards to reasonable limits. All of this current wrangling (IMHO) in the courts and in the media is the politics of dancing. Teams cannot reduce their budgets by 60-90%, and The Turd knows that. If he doesn't, then he is more of an idiot that I thought possible.

FOTA needs to get the act together. It is now or never.

I think the Turd forgets that if anyone wants to race under capped rules,... there is F3.!

I am not even going to watch monaco race cause it would be a waste of my 2hrs. I have also decided not to bother recording the races.

Today I realised that over here in UK, the BBC news channel shows the practice runs. Never had that on ITV. Anyway to cut a long story short, BBC also give us the chance to view classic monaco races along with their interactive service. I sat there watching it over and over. Nothing like watching Senna hold back crap mansell for the last few laps. Even watched Giles in his ferrari. man it made my day to watch a era where racing was racing.

After watching the classic races BBC had put together, I flicked back to thursday 2nd practice runs. Saw the ugly cars, thought about how boring F1 has become and then just swtiched off.

cheers

Wow there is some negative comments on here!! IMO F1 will survive in all its glory either way as there is no other series to rival it, now if the manufactures decided to do a breakaway that would open a whole new can of worms, and so beit, lets have it if they have the balls ive loved this season just because we have seen a mino take control of the system, long may they continue it reminds me of the late 80's when most of the teams where indipendent! i for one liked it
