There's nothing "crap" about being the only person ever to hold the F1 and CART titles simultaneously and being the first to win the CART championship in their debut season... While Mr Mansell was admittedly short on personality, he most certainly wasn't short on talent.
![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
As I saw it,... mansell only wanted to be in the top team. i wonder why?? When he tried coming back from CART, what was all that shenanigans about? Go figure!! I put it down to want of money, lack of talent and always full of excuses. I can't figure out who is the biggest whinger... mansell or Damon? (note both british)
in CART I am fairly certain he was in the best car when he won it. Over here in F1 under a BRITISH run team Williams by a pro-british owner Frank, Mansell was always allowed to win the race. His team-mate was told NEVER to take the race win. You recall that or has selective memory tarnished your view on "great talented" mansell?
![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
And finally when no one wanted Mr.Whinger in F1 anymore, he decided to try out for BTCC in a Mondeo. He won? No, it was a shameful show of talentless vs talented. What a fantastic crash he gave us though for not understanding how to control a front wheel drive car. I still have that clip on video some where. Its one of my all time favourite clips when I need a good laugh.
And what about that show he gave us after the monaco race when senna held him back. Again in a top car but could not pass. Then when he parked the car he could not get out of it. Had to be helped out AND he collapsed while trying to get the second place trophy. Too much Fish and Chips I guess.
Talent? Sorry I never saw that. Lucky? YES!!!!!!!!!
hehehe... anyway its just my view and who knows I could be totally wrong and you are right. its just me having a dig at mansell so please don't get too angry. Its meant to be light hearted..
cheers
Dont you just love Youtube. Here is the clip I was talking about...

Jean Todt could well be the next President for the FIA.
Mosley must go!
