So, I take it that you didn't like his ridiculous suggestion a few weeks ago that both Formula One and WRC (or whatever it will be called) would use the same engines?
Really?.. I missed that one. He must be nuts, confirmed!!

F1 is going towards F3. Frankly its the fault of all these half baked rich fools who bought into an F1 team, then working out that despite their billion dollar bank accounts, they rather not put much into running the team but love the publicity of owning an F1 team. So they bit*h about the huge sums needed to invest and are full of negative remarks on cost. Max decides he will meddle in the sport and has not broken it,... as I see it. Its not working already.

cheers

Didn't bother to watch the race. Probally catch it on BBC website where they do an excellent 90sec round up of the race. I am going to drop them a mail to say that the 90sec is better coverage than wasting time showing the actual race. Just think how many more better sport coverage can be done while the F1 procession is going on.
I agree too.
I don't watch it only the good bits that I watch
I just listen to it on the computer at work after I down loaded the mkv file

"Mr Ecclestone told the Mail Online: 'Her father is a barrister and a good friend of mine - he invited me to Missy's 16th birthday party in Nobu.

'We decided to walk out together, but I'm afraid that's all there is to it. She's much too young for me!'
"
Doesnt look to me like an innocent stroll...

I don't recall if it was in order to make racing safer, or to save everyone money.

I will try to find the article and translate it from Finnish to English.

It's all about supposedly saving money, but I think we all know it's also about putting even more control into the hands of the FIA. One of the worst ideas from the clowns at the FIA in years!

No, just to make F1 cheaper.

There is the GP2 already with all Renault engines.

Why would Ferrari, Mercedes, BMW, Toyota and Renault take part in such a one engine F1 series?
Actually the engines are limited already (to 18,000 rpm's) and no development is allowed.

F1 must be very high tech!

A KERS that can be used in normal cars and turbos should be a must, that's where the near future in cars is.

PS. The true future in cars is Hydrogen.

The FIA is supposed to be working on a new ?World Engine? due in 2013 that can be used for 3 FIA categories - F1, F2 and WRC. Max Mosley described the engine as one single engine that could be aspirated and tuned differently for the different categories.

It could be turboed for F1, normally aspirated for F2 and perhaps lightly boosted for the WRC. He added that the project is only in its planning phase and in very early stages. FIA will consult the manufacturers on this matter. The engine will be standard but teams will be able to customise its peripheral areas, such as KERS and other forms of energy recovery such as from the brakes, brake heat and exhaust heat.

?Our basic objective is that the money spent in motorsport on research and development should be relevant and useful to the car industry rather than a highly specialized area which has no relevance to anything else,? says Max Mosley, referring to KERS and other peripherals.

I think FIA ought to allow turbos. The development can surely help in our road cars especially BMW seems to be using turbos these days.

ps: I too say the real future in cars should be hydrogen. I wish these lame goverments would pass a law to get all petrol stations to have a refueling rig for hydrogen. That would be the first major step to move away from any dependancy on OPEC and their crap.

If I could refuel fast and easily available, I would certainly opt for a hydrogen car. Never an electric one thanks to its limited range, hours spent recharging and what about those long cables running from house to the next street corner for houses with no garages and car park slots infront.

cheers
