MMHhhhhhh Yessss, he likes to poe. 3. heres the article http://www.auto-news.de/auto/news/anzeige....5491&page=3 its all german so you guys wont know what that means so theres a translated one (theres all inside info saying this summer... did they say 9,000 rev and feels after 600hp :-o my good-ness gracious, and yes IM the one who intelligently put a 500$ deposit to get this spot before everyone jumps on them as the news come out....)

"A successor will be

The new generation of the BMW 5 Series will be presented in November 2009. The M version is still a bit slow in coming - in the summer or autumn of 2010, it might be ready. Information about new business-understatement-there are hardly any cars. Still, Dr. Kay Segler, head of M GmbH, tells us: "We want to achieve fuel consumption reduction of 20 percent." On the north loop, we then proceed with more in a single piece: an anniversary M5. To questions about the car, we are cultivating silence - but we must go along, Claudia H?rtgen sits at the helm. The Special-M5 ballert off without traction interruption - apparently believes that a new version of the already deployed in the M3 seven-speed dual clutch transmission, now also the torque of an M5 engine. This finding is expressed by us H?rtgen uncommented. The motor rotates up to 9,000 rev / min high and feels after 600 hp. In the next few descendants in 1985 in Amsterdam featured stealth M5 we are already looking forward."

Going "green" its just another marketing scam. Don't fall for that BS. If you "going green" just means your supporting the environment as a whole for the worse. All these corporates are looking for ways to bail them into more money. Ill burn all the beautiful gas I want! leave me alone go bother some shmuck company thats really the sole of polluting this earth. You think every american is going to change there light bulbs to save the earth its just a dum ideology.

i think that BMW just needed to offer something like MB does in the stratosphere with this engine, it goes against all is says is its new global green strategy, though we know that green means $$$ and not environment!

And your assumption seems more appropriate for the EU market, since the F10 will release there before the US...and since you are leasing, I am assuming you are in the US...so you'd have to wait a bit later into 2010.....

Back to the original subject.

Based on the info I have from various sources, the E60 will go out of production in December this year. The F10 will reach the dealers in March and the F11 in September-October 2010. This is for Europe at least.

The new M5 have been tested on the Neuburg ring for some time now, so based on that it is not unlikely that it will be ready and released during next year.

Yes I agree, and I don't mind to wait till then. As long as I don't hear delays and they end up saying dumb number like 2012, by 2012 the dollars probably going to be as dead as your great great grandmother. jk....possibly, hope not

"4th Quater of this year", please tell me you know what that means. Seriously.

Obviously "your friend" and yourself is a total idiot for believing such lies from a dealership and especially BMW of Manhatthan.

Break 12months of the year out in to 4 quaters, what do you get?

1st Quater = January, February, March
2nd Quater = April, May, June
3rd Quater = July, August, Septemeber
4th Quater = October, November December.

Now tell me when do you think "your friend" will get this F10 M5 by? Even if it is by December, you will not get your F10 M5 until early next year after production has started.

What are you eating down there, man? Take it easy
I mean, you're right... kinda... not about the name-calling part, but I'm with you on that other stuff.
