As for comparing performance numbers, please, people, it's getting absurd. It's like two studs (F10 and e60) and 10 whores (car mags) after one night. Take a survey of the whores the next morning and you'll likely get varying results. If you want to make a point with numbers, show us your results from a dragstrip, and detail us with your experiments and experiences like some members on the board here. It more interesting that way.

 

Tell me where they give out samples before you buy sandwichs or don't kick the shit out of you after eating a sandwich and asking for a refund . I'm a cheap ass too.

Pete you are too defensive. This message board exists to discuss the F10. Not everyone is going to agree with your opinions. That is what makes these things interesting. IMO the F10 is a fine car with some deficiencies that make the car less BMW like than other 5 past Series. Many that post here are saying that, but certainly not all. We are not saying that the F10 doesn't have many fine qualities. We are saying that traditional BMW characteristics are not as strong in the F10 as in past models. It is fine, but certainly not stellar in terms of sport performance. It is possible that our expectations, based upon previous BMW's that we have owned, were too high. I think that even you would agree that BMW has de-emphasized sport and placed more emphasis on luxury. And certainly design innovation has been dialed back. Maybe this just a change in direction for the F10. Time will tell as we see how BMW responds to the comments on the F10. Based upon past performance I believe that improvements in terms of sport performance will be offered. The question is when.
