Hi,


When I turn the key to start the engine, sometimes, I can here the starter motor whirring round but it's not engaging with the flywheel ring gear. There is a solenoid on the motor and it would seem it is sticking not pushing the starter gear into mesh. Anybody come across this before and if so is there a way of lubricating the solenoid to free it up a bit? I'm selling it soon so don't really want to buy a new motor.
