Trying to perform a high beam assist retrofit on a 2008 550i I need to wire the fla connector of the mirror to an existing k-can high and low line. In my research all those who have performed the mod say the nearest location to the rear view mirror for k-can would be the rain light sensor green and orange wiring others say I can locate k-can wiring in headliner. When I took existing mirror apart I noticed the lci doesn't have the same wiring and rls as the pictures I've seen in diys. Mine is round and has 2 separate connectors none of them are 4 pins or even orange and green as they are in the diy I suppose the pre lcis have different wire colors than my car.

After doing more research other sites suggested the k-can wires for lci are twisted black and yellow wires . But I don't see any kind of wires like that going to the rain light sensor.

So my question is what is the exact color I'm looking for and where can I tap into it.
