There is no hardware difference on the ZF Gearbox itself. Do not forget we are talking aboiut a 200-300€ extra if You ordered the car with SAT from the factory. This is a clear indication that it is just software, besides of all the succesfull 100% conversions to SAT.

Thanks for Your post buddy. I would say my VO is as it should be, checking it afterwards show the "correct" ZUB, paddles and the lever behaves normaly as long as it stays in automatic.
I have done the wiring years ago....maybe I did a mistake or anything else is wrong. Guess I will need to go trough a full wiring check!
Which pdf is that You're refering? The one from years ago from neurocil, wpg and navarrone? I do not remeber that picture You are showing. If You do not mind, please share it via mail

Maybe have another look at the SIB - SIB 25 03 07 - Paddle Shifter Diagnosis.pdf
SITUATION
The direct communication input line between the paddle shifters and the EGS transmission control module is interrupted.
Also my version of the M5 steering wheel upgrade - BMW-M5-E6x-Paddles.pdf
SITUATION
- The customer may complain that the steering wheel paddle shifters ("sport transmission option code 2STBA") are inoperative.
- Also, the GWS gear shifter will not stay in the manual/sport gate (left side), but moves back immediately to the D center position.
- When diagnosing with the DIS/GT1 testers, fault code 5087 ("Hardware, inputs one touch function") is found to be stored in the EGS transmission control module.

You use Factory Coding Profile and SG_CODIEREN to the EGS & KOMBI to load all default values/options as per the VO .
If you are using Manipulation Profile (used for coding) then make sure you empty the .MAN file before you SG_CODIEREN.

Thanks guys,

I'll get back to You if I succeed!
Appreciate Your help a lot folks!
