Thanks.

where are you going to connect it? the diy here is for cars where x6031 is 12 pin connector. pin 11 is reserved for paddles

what pin is in your case I don't know

Yes It is for connecting paddles, I have an m5 steering wheel installed.
So it's from pin 13 in the szl (x1880 connector) and it needs to go to pin 11 in x6031.

So that's the White connecter at the front? It's strange as the PDFs shows the black connector at the back?

your ebox looks as non LCI. are you positive you have LCI car with electric shifter and not semi electric like on non LCI?

in your case you have x6031 8 pin white connector because your ebox is non LCI you don't have 12 pin connector

if your car has electric shifter you need to find a correct pin if it exists? if not then you need to run a wire to gearbox pin 12

also you have to code gearbox to accept paddles form wert_00 to wert_01 or update software on gearbox if doing proper 2TB retrofit with sports shofter

in case if your car LCI you need to modify m5 steering wheel to make it work. DIY is in this thread somewhere

Thanks for your help, It's an lci with the electronic shifter, the White plug and black plug both have 12 Pins not 8.

I have soldered in the resistors into the m5 wheel and fitted a sat shifter, a forum member is going to code it for me at a later date.

well looking at your picture white plug is 8 pin.

in post 690 is 12 pin plug x6031 check if same

if you have x6031 12 pin there should be pins 10 and 11 free

They both have more then 8 pins, pin 11 is free in the White connector and from memory it maybe free in the black, but I'll have to double check again tomorrow.
