ALL WORK !!!!!! Paddles and "sport" on KOMBI ! Thanks for the clues lol !
What I did?
Adding $2TB to EGS, KOMBI, SZL, SZM !
(I updated the files ECU and DATEN because EGS maked me problem to communicate).

------------------------------
After adding $2TB to KOMBI, all modified code in FwPSW.MAN-kombi(with $205) are lost. Need to modify the NEW FWPSW.MAN (with $2T to recover the BC_Digital aktiv and the others parameters! With $2TB, need to modify DZM Dampfung to aktiv and DZM RPM to wert_01 for recover the RPM Tacho !
-----------------------------

Thanks !!
But now, I want to change the internal software EGS for fast response. Need to use WINKFP??

i mean the (your) EGS needs the Software from sportautomatik EGS (SAT) !!!
you must flash/update the SAT SW to this !!!

Hi guys, please help!!
I recently purchased the SAT retrofit for my e60 LCi and I just want to install the gear selector. After I connected everything and switched the engine on nothing happens. Gears will not select and no lights on the gear selector. I shift up and down and to the side but it always stays in P. does it need coding? It's like there is no power coming in to the ECU!

Please help of you can.

Thanks

Hi guys. It shifter was faulty so I got a brand new one from the dealers. Expensive but so worth it!!

Right, I have installed the shifter however, I do not have DS no more, no sports on the cluster, when pushed left it goes back to right. Push left and shift up or down I get m1-m6 but after 30 seconds goes back to D and is positioned in manual mode.

I don't have paddles yet.

I get firm steering when sports button is pressed but no other enhancement like rev range or holding on gear.

Can someone please please plead tell me the exact coding I need to do.

Thanks guys

Kad - your shifter is dropping into 'failsafe' mode because it can't detect the paddles. This happened to me before we realized about the missing wires that needed to be run. I realize the thread is long, but another user included posting on how to get around this through coding - at least until you get the wheel with paddles installed and the extra wiring run.

Yippeeee, got the ecu and shifter installed yesterday. Took a while, as I got the ecu and shifter from ebay, but when went to install the shift handle was not a fit for 5. Turns out that the shifter and trim piece is different on a 6. My bad, should have checked it.

1. Heavy steering (Check)
2. Faster shifting (Check)
3. Smoother shifting (Check. Though it is not documented anywhere, but my shifts are now a lot smoother, infact can barely notice it)

Todo:
1. Code KOMBI. Maybe will do it altogether when I install the steering
2. Buy steering+paddles+airbag

Hello again guys!!

Right i have the SAT gear selector installed with no coding.

What i get is

When in sports mode:

Hard steering and rev matching.

I also have the steering wheel with the paddles (ebay for £150!!)) however i have not installed it yet. Im a bit scared to take on the job by myself. Ive read the forum and not sure on how to how to do the wiring.

Also where do i get the wires from??

Im not confident enough to take the job on my own.

Also need some one for coding.

Can someone please get in contact to help me.

Thanks
