You mean the console from slide 3 of my diy? there is only one that is a combination of black and shiny metallic. See pic:

Here's my current trim piece with the surround around the aluminium in gloss black.

I wonder if the appearance might be down to differences between right and left hand drive cars. You will note that the width of the black plastic is the same each side whereas as your SAT picture is wider on one side.
For mine not to look odd with SAT, I would be looking for the plastic adjacent to the shiny metal, to be high gloss as is currently.
I probably need to find a picture of a RHD car with SAT and high gloss trim to answer this.
Regards,
David.

Hi, I've been on holiday for two weeks hence the late response.

I see what you mean, but if i look in the ETK, there is only one console...
Should be delivered 26th August.
The console cover is different LHD/RHD but eTK only shows the LHD version hence my query on appearance.
The parts man says the cover will be in my high gloss black - lets hope he is right. Here in the UK a number of trim options are available rather than just matt black.
All parts are non-returnable so hopefully this mod will be worth it!
Cost here in the UK with trade discount through my company was ?420.
I will post results when completed.
Regards, and thanks once again for the DIY write up.
David.
