I think we get to the final destination. Hermman showed the key for long time unresolved issue.
GWSS60 and GKE195 can be the key ecu family.
My old one was GWS60 9204093 and GKE215 7601456.
Now how to flash them instead of normal ecu?
Anybody knows that? like using NCSExpert or WinKFP or Toolset32?
I'm kindly asking the procedure to excellent coders. Thanks.

My 535i Sport Shifter Retrofil Button worked with no sport on cluster. All else worked

Steering wheel stiff as a bone

Shifts quick and I also have Sprint Booster v2 - less lag from the day I didn't have the retrofit

I have followed this thread with great interest. I currently have a pre LCI (by 2 months...) 5-series so this has not been an option for me so far. I am however considering an upgrade to a F10 5-series and have a few questions regarding the SAT retrofit and coding.

From what I have read here, people have just installed the SAT shifter (with ECU etc) with NO coding and NO paddle shifter steering wheel. From what I understand this basically gives you most of the SAT functionality (quicker shifting).

Does anybody know if you can also do the above AND change the steering wheel to a paddle shifter sports wheel and have SAT shifter and the paddle shifters work WITHOUT coding?

And (wrong forum I know) does anybody know if it would work on an F10 (using the correct parts for the F10)?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!

Hi hermman, how do you get a list like this which shows what all modules to code if VO is changed. I don't want to code full car unless required. Next retrofit is FLA so getting prepared on the coding side.

Today I retrofitted FLA (Automatic High Beam Assist) and I coded FLA, DWA, CAS, LMA, KOMBI, RLS, SZL, DDE, DSC, KGM, KBM, IHKA and EKP with NCSExpert profile. Following that stiff steering wheel upon pressing the Sports button is gone, I can't see any noticeable difference in steering wheel stiffness between Sports and non-Sports I really miss that heavy steering feel. Guys please suggest what should be done to get it back, which module, what line?

Sorted it. It was KGM module which if coded with 2TB gives normal steering resistance but if coded with 205 and use SAT shifter then makes steering stiff like hell (which we like ;-)) weird but true.
