Pre LCI Halogen to LCI Halogen conversion
#111
Ok i hope the picture makes sense the blue 8 pin plug has the pins removed but here you have the 2 plugs, Black one is my original Headlight loom plug, blue is the plug which is on one end of the new LCI loom.
the 2 faces of the connectors shown are the sides that will connect together if you look at the pins when the blue is turned and connected to the black the pin hole do not line up, and will not even line up if the pins are removed and relocated.

OEPS! The secret is out
The pins are hold in the slots by the grommets, they are not locked. They will move up out of the plug but once joined the pins will stay in the sockket causse the pins are bigger then the hole.
Well seen demonisation, at least one good observant

Good news for the Adaptive guy?s, and girls of course, the cables will work for your headlights.
Did some search through the WDS:
Non Adaptive Lights (mostly halogens)
Adaptive Lights (Xenon)
Plug X13420-21 (8 pol pre LCI 61.13.8.352.576)
Plug X1034-35 and X10608-09 are the same (4 pins to light regulator 61.13.8.373.573)
Non Adaptive
Adaptive
Electric schema
Manual ctrl (switch in car)
Dynamic ctrl (no switch in car)
Adaptive Lights (no switch in car)

Sas, just so I completely understand before I get too excited.....is that I can do a straight swap from pre-lci xenon w/ adpt to lci xenon w/ adapt by just using your cables?
