So for my next and hopefully final question, what kind of resistor am I looking for? Is there a specific name I can buy on eBay or similar?
Thanks.

I didn't wire the second angel eye wire from the pre LCI loom into the LCI loom. Will this make a difference? And how do I join the resistor?
Do I simply wire one end into wire 5 and the other into wire 7?

Now you are getting technical
I'm no electrician...I just got someone to do it for me. Just follow the diagram EXACTLY 100% to ensure no errors. If you do it some other way perhaps you may get an error. As for how to attach the resistor, I suppose a spark should know how to wire it. Hope this helps.

Hi guys any help will be much appreciated......
I got a 2004 e60 with 2008 headlights. I did the conversion from PRE LCI to LCI ( using a 5w resitor for angel eye), and a xenon conversion using a 35w conversion kit. I used 5w cree led for the angel eyes. Everything was perfect, but my angel eyes stopped working and smoke came out of the led shortly after finishing the installation.
Will 10w cree led will change anything?
Please let me know what can I do because i want to still use led's for angel eyes and the xenons, but i don't want to set my car on fire
Thank u!!!!

Hi Sas,
First of all great work on your retrofits youve done and helped people with!.
Second of all i need your help for the same reason lol. Basically long story short i have a e60 manufacturered march 2007 plate, its got pre lci halogen headlights and would like to carry out the lci halogen headlights like you did yourself. Can you kindly construct a wiring loom for me please, i live in Birmingham, UK im not too sure where you are youself, how much would it cost me altogether? Just to confirm ive got the hella LCI halogen headlights and is it a simple case of getting the correct wiring loom and its a plug and play process? So theres no error messages on the idrive and the headlight functions correctly as it should from dealer mate?
I thank you in advance for your help and support.
Kind Regards,
BMWklasse
